Devron Finley (MIGI) is one of the most outstanding hip-hop talents in Louisville in my opinion, and it has been a pleasure to work with him for the past 18 months. He kills it in every point on the rap spectrum, from old school hip-hop, to hyped up club shit, to R/B and love songs. We've really only had about 5 solid months to put this album together because L.A. keeps stealing him away for half a year at a time. I don't blame him, I'd be out there too if I could afford the move. Devron would come over all the time while I was working on a new instrumental. He'd sit down, listen for a bit, and in an hour the beat would be finished and we'd start recording his clever, hard-hitting, or panty-dropping three verses and hook he had thought of in that short time. It's incredible how quickly this man thinks. He ended up throwing in things off the top of his head in basically every track we did. It was a blast, but a lot of hard work. He moved back to Cali July 23rd and it's sad we won't be able to record another album for a while, but he's doing big things out there and could use your support.
